Glenwood baseball player Keaton Aldridge signed with Memphis and Hardaway volleyball's Tiffany Ancrum signed with South Carolina State on Monday.
Aldridge, the Gators' senior catcher batted .496 last season as he helped lead Glenwood to its second consecutive AISA state title. He also had 63 hits, 29 runs, four home runs and 57 RBIs last season.
Hardaway's Tiffany Ancrum became the school's first volleyball player to sign a Division I scholarship for the sport and followed in the footsteps of her parents and several other relatives who went to South Carolina State. Ancrum, also a member of the Columbus Juniors Volleyball Club, finished the 2010 season with 360 kills and was selected to the Region 1-AAAA all-area team.
