Carver High rising junior Mekhi Brown picked up an invitation to the 2015 Under Armor All-American football game on Monday.
Brown, a defensive end and linebacker who is among the nation’s top recruits and has already committed to play at Alabama, said that he hasn’t accepted the invitation but that there’s a good chance he will.
“The Under Armor game is very prestigious,” he wrote via text message. “I can see myself playing in it. I’m waiting on my parents to discuss the game I’m playing in, and it’s a good chance I will (accept the invitation).”
Brown added that it was a special honor for all involved.

“This is huge for me, my family and Carver,” he wrote.
