Troup County rolled up 613 yards rushing in defeating Columbus High 49-6 Thursday night at Kinnett Stadium.
The Tigers had three rushers go over 100 yards rushing and a fourth with 98 yards.
On the first play following a Columbus fumble, Devonte Swanson took a toss sweep 79 yards for a score. Swanson had two carries for 159 yards rushing and two scores.
Troup had an 11-play, 84-yard drive in the second quarter to go up 12-0 on Daryl Dunlap's 20-yard run. Dunlap had 154 yards rushing on 13 carries and three touchdowns.

The Tigers had a second one-play scoring drive when Mess Bonner went 72 yards through the middle of the Blue Devil defense. Will Smith's run on the PAT made the score 20-0 heading to the half. Bonner had 98 yards rushing on eight carries.
Troup's first second-half possession began at the Columbus 48. Eight plays later Dunlap bulled in from 7 yards out for a 28-0 lead.
Columbus got on the board with 3:51 remaining in the third quarter when Derrick James found Dale Williams behind the Tiger defense for a 77-yard touchdown pass and a 35-6 score.
Columbus had 29 yards rushing on 27 carries and 113 yards through the air on 5-of-21 passing.
Columbus falls to 1-6, 0-4 Region 5-AAAA. Troup improves to 3-4, 2-2.
