BEREA, Ohio -- Former Carver High standout Isaiah Crowell survived the first round of cuts by the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns placed offensive lineman Nick McDonald on the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday, putting their roster at 75 players.
Crowell has played running back in only one of the Browns' three preseason games, carrying the ball three times for four yards in the second game. He has played on special teams in all three games.
The Browns finish the preseason Thursday night against the Bears. The team will have to cut the roster down to 54 players by Sunday.
