The United National Gridiron League has yet to secure dates to use Kinnett Stadium for practices and A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium for its games as it had originally planned.
With the planned May 3 kickoff date less than two weeks away, neither the city nor the school district has finalized contracts with the league, according to employees of both departments.
Never miss a local story.
The UNGL announced its teams' seven-game schedules last month, but has not contacted the city about the use of Memorial Stadium on those dates, according to Columbus parks and recreation department director Tony Adams.
Nor has the UNGL secured plans to use the Muscogee County School District's facilities as it had planned, according to the MCSD's office.
The UNGL has pushed back the start of its season several times and has said that the May 3 kickoff would be the final delay before the season is scrapped.
