Former Columbus Lions player Thaddeus Bullard will make his WWE wrestling debut tonight on "WWE NXT" at 10 p.m. on Syfy.

COLUMBUS, GA (JUNE 8, 2010) – The Columbus Lions of the Southern Indoor Football League are proud to announce that former player Thaddeus Bullard (6’4 267, Defensive Lineman, Florida) will be making is World Wrestling Entertainment debut this Tuesday night on Syfy’s WWE NXT at 10:00 p.m.
A native of Tampa, FL, Thaddeus was a four-year letterman at the Univ ersity of Florida and played in 44 regular season games for the Gators from 1997-2000. After graduation, Thaddeus went to play in the Arena Football League from 2003-2007 most notably with the Utah Blaze and Tampa Bay Storm.
While in AF2, Bullard and current Lions head coach Jason Gibson were teammates with the Greensboro Prowlers. Current Lions general manager Jeff Gonos was also working for the Prowlers in their Football Operations Department at the time.
Gibson and Gonos convinced Thaddeus to sign with the Lions in mid-May of the 2008 season the club began to make their playoff push. Bullard played in two games including the playoff game in which Columbus had in early exit via the Mississippi Mudcats.
“ We look for big things for Thaddeus as his star personality that should bold well in the WWE, ” says Columbus Lions General Manager Jeff Gonos. “ He is tremendous athlete and we can’t wait to see him ‘custopolate’ his opponents.”
