The Georgia High School Football Daily hits Class AAAA pretty hard with its coverage today.
To cut to the point here, Northside - yeah, the one in Columbus - and Hardaway are going to have a real tough years. I'm not saying they won't do well, but it's going to be tough. Here's why...
1 - Three top-10 Maxwell Ratings teams are in Northside-Columbus' and Hardaway's Region 1-AAA. They are No. 1 Northside-Warner Robins, No. 7 Thomas County Central and No. 8 Warner Robins.
2 - Of those teams, Northside-WR and Warner Robins are dropping down a classification to Class AAAA this season. And they were already good there. So with Northside moving up a classification from Class AAA, expect Patriots coach Paul Cates to have his work cut out for him this season.
Here are a couple of other Maxwell Ratings projections:
Hardaway is ranked No. 45 in Class AAAA; Northside is No. 89; and Harris County (Region 3B-AAAA) is ranked No. 47
