Last week was another successful week for picks, the strongest of which was the prediction that Jordan would end its 26-game losing streak. With its 14-13 win over Temple on Saturday, it picked up its first win since 2010.
I seriously considered making it two weeks in a row, picking Columbus to end its 19-game streak. In the end, though, I settled on Northside. Don’t be surprised if the Blue Devils do break through, though. They have been close in both of their games this season.
Here are the rest of the picks.
Take a look, tell me what you think and give me your picks as well.

Some final thoughts
--Harris County-Callaway was a particularly difficult pick. Callaway won a close game last year, 24-21. It is 2-0 and ranked No. 9 in Class AAA. In the end, though, I went with the Tigers to make it three wins in a row after an opening-week loss.
--I took Eufaula over Russell County, but don’t sleep on the Warriors. The Warriors hung with Central for three quarters in the season-opener, and I think they have the front-line talent to hang with Eufaula as well. If they can stay fresh for a fourth-quarter battle or take an early lead before the lack of depth becomes an issue, the Warriors can certainly give themselves a chance to win.
