Fox Sports shows coming to town
Changes are coming to sports radio in Columbus on Monday.
Fox Sports Radio will be on full-time on WHAL-AM 1460. It is replacing the VIVA, Clear Channel’s Spanish Language format.
Fox Sports Radio’s most well-known shows include Dan Patrick at 9 a.m., Jim Rome at noon and JT the Brick at 10 p.m.
It will compete with ESPN Radio, which is on WEAM-AM 1580. WEAM also uses some Sporting News Radio programming as well.
B.R. Johnson will return to airwaves
Former Chattahoochee Valley Community College baseball coach B.R. Johnson will return to radio in Columbus on Monday.
Johnson will host the Past Noon Show at 1 p.m. beginning Monday on WRCG-AM 1420. His co-host will be Randy Rhodes.
Johnson hosted the High Noon show on WSHE-AM 1270 for several years until recently.
