It is severe weather time in this area, and that means we will get to see a lot weather crawls across the bottom of the screen and an oversized map of the Chattahoochee Valley with lots of different colors on it.
For those who watch sports, this causes plenty of frustration.
Case in point: Saturday's Florida-Butler NCAA Elite 8 game.
WRBL's weather crawl sat right on top of the where CBS puts its scoreline, so unless you were able to listen to the broadcast, you had no idea what the score is.
I don't understand why the crawl has to continue seemingly non-stop. Can't it be run one time every 10 minutes or so.
Of course, just as I get ready to post this, WRBL gets knocked off the air. At least the crawl is not there anymore.
