Thomas Nichols drove in five runs with three hits, including a grand slam, to lead Georgia Tech to a 14-6 victory over Wake Forest on Saturday.

The Jackets (31-12, 12-11 Atlantic Coast Conference) won the three-game weekend series, their first series triumph since the last weekend in March. Wake fell to 16-27, 7-15.

Freshman Jeff Rowland had four hits for the Jackets, driving in one run and scoring three.
