ATHENS, Ga. — Travis Leslie scored 21 points and led four double-figure scorers as Georgia defeated North Georgia 87-53 Friday night in an exhibition game that saw new coach Mark Fox make his UGA debut.
Trey Thompkins added 11 points, and Drazen Zlovaric and Ebuka Anayorah chipped in 10 each, for the Bulldogs. Thompkins also had eight rebounds and two blocks. Chris Barnes led Georgia in rebounds with nine.
The Dogs tip off the regular season 7 p.m. next Friday at home against New Orleans.
