BUENA VISTA, Ga. — Greenville dominated from start to finish to finish the regular season undefeated with a 27-0 victory over Marion County.

As the Region 4-A champion, Greenville will host the fourth seed from Region 1, likely Pelham, in the first round of the Class A state playoffs next week.

Despite the loss, Marion County’s season also continues into the playoffs.

As the No. 4 seed, it will play next week at Clinch County, who played for the Region 1 championship Friday.

It will be Marion County’s first state playoff game since the split from Tri-County High School earlier this decade.

Laquan Blount led Greenville with touchdown runs of 37 yards and 22 yards in the first quarter.

Ykeem Wells rushed for 105 yards on 34 carries for Marion.
