But the experts at Cheapism just did the work for us. The pick for good, cheap barbecue in Georgia is Southern Soul Barbeque located at St. Simon’s Island.

“Southern Soul Barbeque transformed a former gas station into one of Georgia’s most celebrated smokehouses, earning praise for both its food and relaxed coastal atmosphere,” said Julieta Simone with Cheapism.

Simone said that the pulled pork and other house-made meats always get good reviews from customers. Regarding the price, Simone said everything seems to be at a “reasonable price” even specialty plates and platters, which are fan favorites at this joint.
