2022 is almost here, and there are multiple events happening in the Columbus and Phenix City area to help ring in the new year.

From cigar shops to fine dining, there’s something for everyone as we turn the page to 2022.

Here’s a list of New Year’s Eve happenings in the Chattahoochee Valley:

Parties & Events

Chattabrewchee’s New Year’s Party

Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse, 1301 Sixth Ave., is hosting a New Year’s party beginning at 8 p.m. Dec. 31.

The party is cocktail attire and features a midnight toast, possum drop and live music. Catering is provided by 11th and Bay.

Tickets are $45 per person and $80 per couple.

Tickets can be purchased at the brewery, and sales close Dec. 29.

18th Amendment

18th Amendment, 1026 Broadway, is hosting a New Year’s Eve party starting at 5 p.m. Friday.

Advance tickets and VIP booths are available.

The 1920s-style speakeasy in downtown Columbus offers a wide selection of bourbons and whiskeys. It also has a dress code, according to its Facebook page:

  • Men: No hats unless it’s from the era. Collared shirt, dress coat or dress sweater is recommended. Nice T-shirts are allowed, but no sleeveless shirts. Cargo shorts or dress shorts are allowed. No sunglasses inside. No athletic wear.

  • Women: Casual-dressy to cocktail attire. No sunglasses inside. No athletic wear or “short shorts.” No see-through or revealing clothing.

Big Dog Fleet Feet’s Resolution Run

Join Big Dog Fleet Feet, 12 W. 11th St., for a New Year’s Day 5K or 10K run.

The free event starts and ends at Big Dog Fleet Feet’s storefront. Routes are to-be-determined.

There will be no 6 a.m. run Jan. 1. The Resolution Run takes its place.

New Year’s golf at Callaway Gardens

The Am Tour returns to Callaway Gardens Friday.

Held on the Mountain View Course, which has hosted multiple PGA Tour events, the event features a challenging layout that tests players’ shotmaking abilities.

Entry fee is $105. Registration is open now and ends Dec. 29.

The Loft: New Year’s Eve Masquerade

The Loft, 1032 Broadway, is hosting a New Year’s Eve masquerade beginning 7 p.m. Friday. It includes live entertainment, champagne toast, a breakfast buffet and more.

Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased online.

Restaurant specials

Cannon Brew Pub

The Cannon Brew Pub, 1041 Broadway, will be open regular hours from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. New Year’s Eve.

The restaurant will be closed New Year’s Day.

Eighteen85 Rooftop Bar & Kitchen

Eighteen85 Rooftop Bar at Hotel Indigo, 21 W. 14th St., is hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration. It includes an appetizer buffet, sparkling wine, midnight toast and more.

New Year’s Eve at Epic Restaurant

Epic Restaurant, 1201 Front Ave., is offering a special four-course meal with “elevated interpretations” of the restaurant’s signature dishes.

The prix-fixe menu costs $150 per person. For parties of six or more, diners are encouraged to contact info@epiccuisine.com.

Nonic Beer Bar & Kitchen

Nonic Beer Bar & Kitchen, 1239 Broadway, will be open until midnight Friday.

The restaurant will operate 11 a.m.-midnight New Year’s Eve, and will be closed Saturday.

Stock Market Dueling Kitchens

Stock Market Dueling Kitchens, 1232 Broadway, is offering a special menu for New Year’s Eve. Reservations are available by phone at 706-507-3530 or by messaging the restaurant.

Items include BBQ short rib, grilled salmon, shrimp and scallops, and “surf & turf” as main course offerings.

Trevioli Italian Kitchen

Trevioli Italian Kitchen, 7466 Blackmon Rd., is hosting a New Year’s celebration. Reservations are required. Message the restaurant or call at 706-580-8136 to book a spot.

The evening starts off with a charcuterie board and flight of cocktails, then moves to a prime rib cutting paired with a baked potato and Caesar salad. Finish the evening with dessert and a complimentary glass of champaign.

Cost is $150 for the first person and $22 for the second.
