A number of Columbus residents will be in Atlanta this weekend having been lucky enough to secure highly coveted tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras tour.

Around 180,000 Swifties will head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium Friday through Sunday, according to reporting by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which is the first time anyone has sold out three consecutive nights at the stadium.

One concertgoer from Columbus, Anne Martin, is going to the show on Sunday with a group that includes her boyfriend’s daughter and his daughter’s mom. While she likes Taylor Swift, Martin doesn’t consider herself to be a Swiftie. However, she’s been learning from others that this concert is “more of an event.”

As the owner of the Southern Pearl Boutique on Broadway, Martin began selling Taylor Swift-themed merchandise ahead of the concert. She’s seen the excitement for the concert in Columbus by the number of people buying these items.

“We’ve sold out of our t-shirt twice,” she said. “So, we just reordered that. We did have some Taylor Swift tote bags, and we’re sold out of all of those.”

Although Martin is learning more about how passionate Taylor Swift fans are about their favorite musician, Columbus resident Krissy Davidson isn’t sure who the bigger Swiftie is, herself or her daughter, Olivia.

Davidson was lucky enough to secure presale tickets to the concert on Ticketmaster. She and Olivia will be joined by one of Davidson’s friends and their family. Davidson became a big fan of Taylor Swift when she was 17 years old, and passed down the passion to Olivia, who knew every word to every song by the time she was 2 years old.

Olivia was sent on a scavenger hunt during Christmas and began crying when she found the memorable tickets informing her that she would be attending the concert. The mother and daughter duo will also be attending the Sunday show.

In honor of the upcoming event in Atlanta, the Ledger-Enquirer is asking local Swifties to tell us what their all-time favorite Taylor Swift song is. Vote as many times as you’d like, and share it with your friends to make sure your favorite song wins.
