Halloween events: Get scared at Popes Haunted Farm

Popes Haunted Farm features three scary attractions in Salem, Ala. A haunted hayride, a walk through a haunted forest and a tour of a haunted barn are sure to fill guests with fear. How scary are these attractions? So scary that tours of the barn and forest are not recommended for those younger than age 10.

Popes Haunted Farm is open Friday and Saturdays from 7:30 to 11 p.m. through Oct. 30. It's also open two Sundays — Oct. 24 and Oct. 31 from 7:30-10 p.m.

Attractions cost $12 for one, $20 for two and $25 for three for adults. Kids 12 and younger pay $10 for one, $18 for two and $22 for three.

From Columbus, take the 13th Street Bridge to Phenix City and continue on Highway 80 West for 18 minutes. Then take Russel Highway 71 for 2 miles. Popes will be on the left. Using a GPS? Type in Lee Road 724 Salem, Ala.
