UPDATE: Tickets still available for midnight premiere of 'The Hunger Games'

The reaping has arrived.

And fans of Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games," can see the first movie installment of the best-selling book trilogy this weekend.

Carmike's Ritz 13 hosts "Hunger Games"-related events from 1-6 p.m. Saturday.

According to Ben Wright, the Ritz 13 general manager, a food donation event called Stop Hunger Games will collect donations for Feed the Valley. For five items donated, participants will receive a free frozen drink at Lt.'s Diner.

Ritz 13 will also hold a Reaping Raffle, where people can make monetary donations to the United Way and be entered into a lottery to win prize packages.

Additionally, Wright said there will be free face painting, Cornucopia Races, bean bag toss and a bow and arrow booth in the lobby for patrons to enjoy.
