Free downtown concert

Friday, the musicians from Classic Addict perform a free concert beginning at 7 p.m. on Broadway. The band has local roots, but is now based in Nashville. It's been about six months since they last performed in Columbus, according to lead singer and guitarist Cale Dodds.

"We hate going that long," he said.

Guests at Friday's show can expect to hear everything from new original material to covers. "Columbus, Georgia will always be home," Dodds said.

Both shows are open to all ages.
