Jan. 26: Free health screenings available for adults at Columbus Trade Center

Columbus healthcare providers join forces to provide more than 30 free health screenings to the community on Jan. 26 at the Columbus Trade Center. Screenings include bone density, body fat analysis, hearing and vision screening, blood pressure and cholesterol checks. Since it began in 2000, the annual Health Expo has screened over 13,000 people and provided over 52,300 health screenings at no cost to participants. The event is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Screenings are for adults. No children's screenings are available. Results from screenings will be written on registrations forms. Attendees will have an opportunity to review your results with a healthcare professional. Prepare for long lines and be sure to arrive early for multiple screenings. Spanish interpreters and sign language translators will be available at the health expo.

When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Last admission is 1:30 p.m.
