Tony Awards 2026 Winners: Complete List of Every Winner
Sunday night saw the 2026 Tony Awards pay tribute to the standout stars of Broadway plays and musicals across the 2025-2026 season.
Hosted by Grammy-winning singer Pink at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, there were more than a few surprises in store. The biggest of which was John Lithgow breaking the record for the longest gap between wins, taking home the best actor award for his role as Roald Dahl in “Giant,” 53 years after winning it for "The Changing Room.”
Lithgow set a second record at the same time as the oldest man to win a competitive acting Tony at 80 years old.
Other names recognized for dominating the 2025-2026 Broadway season were Joshua Henry, who won Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for "Ragtime,” and Laurie Metcalf for her supporting turn in "Death of a Salesman.”
The Nathan Lane-led adaptation of Arthur Miller’s "Death of a Salesman" scored a total of six Tonys, which is the most of any individual production. Meanwhile, “Schmigadoon!” won the Best Musical category, along with Best Original Score, Best Orchestrations, and Best Book of a Musical.
