Dave Chappelle Opens Up About Travis Kelce's Bachelor Party-and the Details Are Hilarious
Comedy legend Dave Chappelle is opening up about Travis Kelce's bachelor party.
Chappelle, 52, gained prominence as a stand-up comedian before tackling film roles in movies like Con Air and Half Baked. While his career has continued to evolve, with unexpected film roles like A Star is Born and tremendous appearances on Saturday Night Live, it was his Comedy Central sketch comedy series, Chappelle's Show, that put him on the map as a revolutionary in the business. Now, Chappelle is sharing hilarious details of what went down at Travis Kelce's bachelor party before the football star got married to Taylor Swift.
During an appearance on CNN's Independence Eve broadcast, Chappelle spoke to Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper about how Kelce and his bachelor party came to see his recent show at Viejas Arena in San Diego.
"Travis Kelce came to see your San Diego show. It looked like it was his bachelor party when he came to see you," Cohen asked. "Did you interact with him at all that night?"
In his classic raunchy style, Chappelle responded by saying, "Well, of course I did. I was shocked. I had never seen anything like that. A whoreless bachelor party. Whatever makes you happy, Travis. I heard he was getting married at Madison Square Garden. You would think I could have got an invite, but I didn't. I didn't make the 15,000 closest friends," Chappelle replied.
