More wine than ever at this year’s Uptown Beer & Wine Festival
Wine lovers will have more to love than ever before at the 8th annual Uptown Beer &Wine Festival on Saturday.
“We have really elevated that part of the festival,” said event manager Stephanie Woodham of Yalla Public Relations.
There will be more than 25 selections of wines to sample and an expert with whom customers may discuss the different blends.
It is something visitors to the festival have said they wanted.
As usual, there will be more than 100 craft beers from across the U.S. to taste with representatives of various breweries on hand to answer questions.
“You can learn a lot,” Woodham said.
The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Tap and Rankin Courtyard between Broadway and First Avenue and also The Livery.
You must be 21 years old to attend.
Woodham said this major fundraiser for Uptown Columbus has been a large success through the years. It has sold out the last two years.
“There is limited space and tickets really go fast,” she said.
The $45 tickets may be purchased at the Springer Opera House or online at https://springeroperahouse.org/.
