The 9th annual Uptown Beer & Wine Festival is 1-5 p.m. Saturday in the Rankin Courtyard. If your idea of the perfect Saturday is cool weather, great music and sampling over 100 craft beers and wine this is the event for you.

Tickets are $45 and may be purchased at the Springer Opera House Box Office with no processing fee, or online at www.springeroperahouse.org.

Enjoy attending the FREE events like the Friday night concerts in the fall and spring? These events are hosted by Uptown Columbus, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that organizes numerous free events throughout the year. This is your chance to give back while having a great time. The Beer & Wine Festival is Uptown’s largest fundraiser of the year.

3. Sample Over 100 Craft Beers

Ale yeah! Craft beer lovers have the opportunity to meet brew masters and sample over 100 craft beers from all over the good ‘ole United States of America.

Wine connoisseurs will get the chance to speak with wine experts and get On Cloud Wine as they sample over 50 whites, reds, sweets and blends.

5. DJ Cashflow

It isn’t a party without some sort of tunes. DJ Cashflow from 98.3 The Beat will be spinning from first sip to last call.

6. Sip & Soar Package

New to this year’s Uptown Beer & Wine Festival, the Sip and Soar Package is available to the first 100 participants for $75 and includes: Blue Heron Adventure Zipline (two jumps from 45 foot free fall, 1,200 foot zip line, 500 foot zip line, a tree top canopy tour and 1,100 foot zip line, along with lunch provided at the festival and entry to the festival.
