Annual Book Sale
Gently used books and AV material at the Muscogee County Friends of Libraries Annual Book Sale. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday for FOL Members only pre-sale (memberships may be purchased at the door); 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday for everyone and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday is the Brown Bag Sale (Buy a bag for $5 and fill it to the brim.) Back by popular demand, ZAPP in Concert at The Phenix City Amphitheater. Chattahoochee Challenge
TriColumbusGA hosts the Chattahoochee Challenge Olympic Triathlon and Dualthon. 5:30 a.m. The swim is a two-loop, 500 meter, down river swim in depths no greater than 6 feet. Dual athletes start with a 2-mile run. The bike route is smooth and flat and the run route will take you along the Phenix City Riverwalk and into Columbus. $95-$125. Register at triocolumbusga.com
