Spoilers ahead!

This week, Zach Shallcross traveled down south to the Peach State for his hometown date with Charity Lawson during hometowns week on “The Bachelor,” ABC’s hit reality TV show.

“We are in my hometown of Columbus, Georgia,” Charity told the cameras. “I am genuinely feeling all the feels today.”

Charity took Zach straight to the Riverwalk, where they sat on a nearby bench, took in the serene sights and chatted about Zach meeting her family.

This week, Zach returns to the United States and sets off on a cross-country adventure to meet the families of his four remaining women in their hometowns. He traveled to Columbus, Georgia, to meet with Charity.

“It’s going to be like a family tailgate,” Charity giggled.

When they arrived at the gathering, there was fried chicken, green beans and smiles all around as Charity introduced Zach to everyone.

After they ate some delicious southern faire, the deep conversations began.

Charity had several heartfelt talks with her parents and friends that left them all in tears.

Of course, Charity’s family also grilled Zach with questions about her, him, their relationship and his intentions going forward.

“Everything went great,” Charity told Zach after the tailgate. “But I have one more surprise for you.”

And that surprise appeared to be Broadway Saloon in Columbus.

Charity and Zach looked like the cutest country couple dancing to live music, kissing and getting in the occasional line dance.

After they left the bar, they embraced each other and kissed in a nearby alleyway. This is where Charity told Zach she was “falling in love” with him.

Zach told her it was “so good hearing that” and further shared his excitement to the cameras, gushing about his feelings for her.

But was love truly in the air in the Fountain City of Georgia?

What happened at the rose ceremony?

It doesn’t look like Charity’s charming hometown date was enough to pin down this Bachelor.

She was unfortunately eliminated during the rose ceremony, which took place later in the episode.

The pair shared a private moment together before Charity departed.

“I just don’t even know what to say,” Charity said to Zach.

“You deserve all the love and I couldn’t give it to you,” Zach told her as he rested his hand on her knee.

In the car, Charity told the cameras that she is just “one step closer to finding” who she is meant to find.

The journey isn’t over yet for Charity, though.

‘The Women Tell All’ special comes on Tuesday, Mar. 14, where she will appear, along with the rest of the women from Zach’s season thus far.

Will a special announcement be made about who the next Bachelorette is during the episode? Tune in to see Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
