Thomas Doherty Is Dating Cole Sprouse's Ex Ari Fournier After Quiet Split

Thomas Doherty is dating model Ari Fournier after she quietly split from her longtime boyfriend, Cole Sprouse, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.

The insider shares that Doherty, 31, and Fournier, 27, have been seeing each other for "a few months now."

Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Doherty, Fournier and Sprouse for comment.

Doherty and Fournier attended the 2026 Indianapolis 500 together on May 24. The Paradise star wore an all-black ensemble while posing with his girlfriend, who kept it casual in a black leather jacket, a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black boots. At one point, they were spotted holding hands, according to photos circulating on social media.

It is unclear when Fournier and Sprouse, 33, broke up, but they were last photographed together in April 2025. She and Doherty have been regularly "liking" each other's Instagram posts since March of this year.

Interestingly, Sprouse is currently filming a movie titled Hot Year with Doherty's ex-girlfriend Dove Cameron. (The Tell Me Lies alum and Cameron, 30, started dating in December 2016 after meeting on the set of Descendants 2. They split in October 2020.)

Fournier and Sprouse, for their part, got together in January 2021 after the actor's high-profile split from his Riverdale costar Lili Reinhart. The model made their romance Instagram official that August, calling Sprouse "my love" in a since-deleted post.

During their long-term relationship, Fournier and the Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum regularly attended events together, including his twin brother Dylan Sprouse‘s July 2023 wedding to Barbara Palvin. (Dylan and Palvin, 32, are currently expecting their first baby.)

"She's my best friend," Cole gushed of Fournier on "Call Her Daddy" in March 2023. "We get along so well. We do everything together."

The former Disney Channel star also reflected on the beginning of his romance with the Canadian beauty while appearing on the podcast.

"The first time I met her, she was actually in a five-year relationship, and we didn't speak again for two years," he said. "And by the time we met again, she was single. And it was very funny because I was having a party at my house … and we were just talking about relationships and life and stuff like that, and it was practically a handshake agreement. And honestly, from that moment on, we didn't stop spending every day with one another."

Cole shared that he had "never experienced this level of compatibility" with a partner before, crediting Fournier with improving his day-to-day life.

"I've gotten sober. I've questioned my existence in a way that I never have before. I've had my best financial years. My career is doing better," he explained. "It's like when the private sphere is locked in, everything else comes from that foundation, and it is in no small part thanks to her."
