Columbus man charged with breaking into Christian book store
A 24-year-old man was arrested in Saturday's burglary at the Thompson Christian Book Store on Farr Road, according to Columbus police.
Lamonte Leonard, 24, was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with burglary. He was placed in the Muscogee County Jail.
Columbus police were called to the Thompson Christian Book Store at 915 Farr Road after its alarm sounded around 9:07 a.m. Saturday. Leonard was accused of breaking into the building.
