Menu items: Seafood, seafood, seafood. Fish comes only fried or broiled, but it's offered in six varieties — trout, mackerel, flounder, mullet, snapper and the most popular, catfish. Oysters come raw on the half shell, fried or in a stew. Shrimp is stuffed, boiled or fried.

Beverages: Soft drinks, tea (iced or hot), coffee, water. No bar.

Atmosphere: The dining area is a big, open room with seats for nearly 300. It's no-frills, but comfortable, with picture windows to let diners look into the kitchen or out onto the passing traffic.

Cost: Dinners average $10-$11 and come with a baked potato or fries, and hush puppies and coleslaw. Half orders are available. A single deviled crab is $2.95 and a crab roll is $2.50.
