Step inside Villa Nova and you’ll be transported to an atmosphere that resembles a world of its own.
Tables and booths are anchored not only by candles, but also by miniature street lamps. Guests dine while enjoying a peaceful, intimate vibe that’s characteristic of an Italian villa, as the restaurant’s name suggests.
"It's just really quaint, cozy and romantic," said Kevin Jones, consultant for the restaurant. Villa Nova hosts live entertainment, focusing on easy listening dinner music, on Friday and Saturday nights.
Locally owned Villa Nova has been in and out of the Columbus area, occupying several different locations since the '50s.

Now, it sits in a shopping center on the north end of Veterans Parkway, where guests can enjoy a variety of entrees, including the traditional Italian fare.
That portion of the menu spans classic dishes like spaghetti and lasagna, plus favorites like veal or chicken marsala.
Then, there’s the "American Grill" portion of the menu -- where you'll find steak, fish and chicken entrees.
