Subsidizes Small Users

Columbus Water Works officials yesterday declared that the Water Works loses money providing water to small consumers and makes nearly all of its profit from the county’s biggest water users.

The contention is exactly the opposite of charges by a city commissioner three weeks ago.

The commissioner, Jesse D. Binns, declared that it “does not seem to be proper accounting to me.”

Profanity Charge

Sheriff’s deputies today were waiting for R.T. Davis Sr. to return to town so they could serve him with a warrant charging that he used profanity in the presence of a neighbor woman.

Sheriff’s deputies said Davis, who is a railway employe, is expected home late today from an out-of-town trip
