Fort Benning to host national shooting event

The U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning will host the 2010 U.S. Army Small Arms Championships from Feb. 20-27.

Training and competitions are open to all soldiers of any rank in the entire Army, including West Point and college ROTC cadets, Army Reservists and National Guardsmen.

For additional information or to register, call Michael Behnke, the USAMU chief of competitions, at 706-545-7841.

Lady Bulldogs’ head coach Joni Taylor gave birth to a baby girl, Drew, February 19 at 7:29 a.m. Taylor coached a game against Mississippi about 8 hours before giving birth in Athens. This is her second child.
