I couldn't have reputably stayed on the fringes of my high school social scene if I wasn't a devout fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Unfortunately, I never got to go to any midnight showings where people dressed up, sang along and acted out scenes along with the movie.
I would still go if I ever got the chance.
And I just might, if stage actors wouldn't mind the audience stealing their spotlight - the Chattachoochee Shakespeare Company is holding auditions for Rocky Horror, as well as The Tempest and Cannibal! the Musical.
Auditions are 6-9 p.m. May 10-11 at 1242 Broadway.
Prepare a Classical and Contemporary Comedic dialogue, memorized, about 45 second.
Additionally for Rocky Horror and Cannibal!: Prepare 16 bars from a legitimate musical or pop song and bring sheet music or CD accompaniment.
