Couple of good opportunities to ride with a group and meet new friends.
First, not just for motorcycle riders, but for a good cause, Easter Seals of West Georgia is holding its annual Pancake Breakfast from 7-11 a.m. It's at the Easter Seals facility on Double Churches Road, between St. Stephen's Church and the Fortson Post Office. Adults are $3.50; Children less ($1.50 I think, but don't hold me to that). Includes either milk or orange juice.
Eat early enough and you can ride over to the Welcome Center on Williams Road to meet the Southern Cruisers at 9 a.m. At 9:30 a.m. they will ride as a group to Luke's Pub in Ellerslie to participate in a Poker Run, which starts there at 10 a.m., so you can meet there, if you wish.
Then, when the sun goes down, the VMTA will meet at the Burger King on Miller Road at 9 p.m. to ride to Albany for its midnight ride and dinner/brunch at Three Sisters diner. They plan to ride two-lane roads down and come back on the four-lane highway. they will also have a poker run.
Contact me here if you need more details or a contact in one of these groups.
