kris allen, danny gokey duet

Time for the first duet of the night! Kris Allen and Danny Gokey are singing "Renegade" by Styx.

Hmm. Don't know if I'm loving the duet concept. I mean, Kris and Danny -- Kranny? -- harmonize well, but for the majority of the song it seems like they're singing in separate spheres. Which, I guess, is what you do when you're singing a duet in an INDIVIDUAL SINGING COMPETITION. It ends up being a Danny show for the majority of the song, but they complement each other well at parts. Not too bad overall.

Randy: "I really like the harmonies."

Kara: "It was united and strong."

Paula: "It was powerful and it was compelling."

Simon: "Danny, you were better than Kris."
