You may know that I'm not a big Sandra Bullock fan. Right now, i'm not a Jesse James fan. It's difficult to believe he would fool around on Bullock with heavily tattooed Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, a tattoo artist and alleged sometime call girl. She even has a tat on her forehead!
Now there's talk of a Best Actress Oscar curse: If you are married (or in a seemingly solid relationship) and win a Best Actress Oscar, your marriage or relationship is doomed.
Maybe it's just coincidental, but since 1998, the Best Actress Oscar winners do seem to have had some rotten luck at love.
1998: Helen Hunt won for "As Good As it Gets" and dropped Hank Azaria as her husband the next year.
1999: Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck were Hollywood's golden couple when she won for "Shakespear in Love." Two months later, kaput.
2001: Julia Roberts won for "Erin Brockovich and was madly in love with Benjamin Bratt. Three months later, they broke up after a four year relationship.
2002: Halle Berry won for "Monster's Ball" and by 2003, she and her husband Eric Benet were divorced.
2004: Charlize Theron changed from Hollywood knock-out to serial killer in "Monster." In her acceptance speech, she said about boyfriend Stuart Townsend: "I have to thank my incredible partner in crime. You are one hell of a partner to have. Thank you for standing by me." It took them a little time, but they broke up in January.
2005: Hilary Swank won the first of her two Oscars for "Boys Don't Cry" and called her husband, Chad Lowe, seen crying in the audience, "my everything." A year later, they were divorced.
2006: Reese Witherspoon won for playing June Carter Cash in "Walk the Line." She and husband Ryan Philippe split by the end of the year as reports of his affair with Abbie Cornish surfaced.
2009: Kate Winslet ("The Reader") announced her split from husband Sam Mendes earlier this week.
Spared so far: Helen Mirren ("The Queen," 2007) and Marion Cotillard (2008's "La Vie en Rose"), who are still with their partners. Nicole Kidman who for "The Hours" in 2003, was divorced from Tom Cruise at the time, and not yet married to Keith Urban.
Yikes! This is really bad. Maybe there really is a "curse."
