'Slumdog Millionaire' ignites dance craze

I just watched "Slumdog Millionaire" last week and during the awesome dance scene for the closing credits, my boyfriend tells me that there are lots of places offering fitness classes based on the "bollywood" dance.

My boyfriend generally doesn't know things like this, so I figured it's worth looking into.

So far I haven't found any places around Columbus that are offering Bollywood-inspired dance or fitness classes, but I'm not done searching!  

Meanwhile, this article talks about an instructor in New York City who has seen a massive increase in class attendance since "Slumdog" swept the Oscars.   It's pretty cool how she created a whole workout using the dance moves and marketed it.  I might pick up one of her DVDs.  If you want one, check it out here.
