Single on Valentine’s Day? You’re not alone.

No, really, you’re not. When you Google “single on Valentine’s Day” you get 58,400,000 search results, which means there have to be at least 58 million other singles out there searching for advice on how to navigate through the storm of pink hearts and sappy cards expected to hit Feb. 14 (Thanks, Hallmark). If misery loves company, you’ve got plenty of it.

If not, here’s a list of 10 best movies to watch on Valentine’s Day when you’re single. There’s the standard anti-V-Day horror flick, Scream, as well as classics like Casablanca and Rudy. One of my favorite movies from 2009, 500 Days of Summer, also makes an appearance.
