Remember last week when I said the Springer Opera House announced the 2011-12 season?
And how there was a crowd trying to buy season tickets in the lobby?
I heard that the Springer sold more than 200 season subscriptions Thursday night.
When an arts organization offers a season that people want to see, that's what happens. Everywhere I turned Thursday night, people were excited about what they will see starting this fall.
I hope this is a good sign for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, RiverCenter for the Performing Arts and Columbus State University's department of theater as they start announcing their seasons.
I'm not sure who's next, but as soon as I found out, you will.
