Cubicle decorating
You spend eight hours a day (sometimes more) at the office, so you might as well make your cubicle look a little homey, right?
My cubicle isn't decorated (unless you consider stacks of used reporter's notebooks and old newspapers decorating) but it has a few personal items, like my Harry Potter 3D glasses.
CBS News has a slideshow of creative cubicle decor. My favorite? The chalkboard walls of this cubicle and this miniature rollercoaster.
But some of them -- like the cubicle decorated with a casino night theme -- just seem distracting.
This article outlines some basic rules for decorating your cubicle, but I really think it just depends on your workplace. Some places are more conservative than others.
For instance, My Pride and Prejudice and Zombies calendar -- which features pictures of men and women in Regency dress killing zombies (haha) -- wouldn't be appropriate if I worked at a school. Some of my Ledger co-workers think the calendar is a little odd, but they also laugh at it.
How do you decorate your cubicle?
