Work and cruise around the world

This sounds like a great job -- if you can sing, dance and tumble. Royal Caribbean Productions hires more people for cruise ships than any other.

The opportunity to cruise around the world will become available for people, ages 18-40, on March 4 in Atlanta.

There are full Broadway musicals to Las Vegas-style production shows and aqua and ice spectaculars that have to be cast.

Dancers need to sign in at 9:15 a.m. with auditions beginning at 9:45 a.m.

Singers sign in at 1:15 p.m. with auditions starting at 1:45 p.m.

The audition site is the Atlanta Ballet, 1695 Marietta Blvd. N.W., in Atlanta.

Everyone wanting to audition needs to bring a current head shot and resume.

Singers need to bring sheet music in the proper key for a ballad and an up-tempo song and must sing 16-32 bars of those songs. You must be able to sing in all styles of music.

Dancers need to have a strong background in jazz dance. Tumbling skills are a plus.

I'd do it in a heartbeat except for a few things.

1. I'm too old.

2. I can't sing.

3. I can't dance.

4. I can't tumble.

But I can pretend to sing and dance. I have a feeling that won't count and I can't pretend to be 40 or younger.

Oh, well. Those of you who can sing, dance and tumble and fit into the age category can audition.

Let me know if you do it.
