It's sad, but it's inevitable.
As we age, we're going to start losing the people in our lives whom we love.
This morning, we put Clara Bell Hawkins Roberts to rest.
She was the mother of my good friend Oz Roberts. And, of course, his two brothers, Dover and Earl.
I learned a lot about Mrs. Roberts that I didn't know before. I'm sorry I didn't know all these things.
It was the perfect funeral. In fact, I told a friend that it was the exact thing I want when I die.
I'd better write it down somewhere. Maybe in a will? I guess I'd better think of making one.
We already have our plots in Parkhill Cemetery. About 10 years ago, Cheryl decided we'd better think of that, so my brother, my sisters and I decided to be buried next to each other.
OK, so one detail down. Now, it's time for a will.
