Shannon Magrane, a 16-year-old singer from Florida, was eliminated from "American Idol" Thursday night.
Elise Testone and Erika Van Pelt joined her in the bottom three.
Shannon got lots of airtime during the early portions of the competition, thanks in part to her dad, a former Major League Baseball pitcher.
She showed potential before the live shows, but succumbed to the lure of sleepy ballads in recent weeks. The result? A pageant vibe that didn't appeal to the "Idol" audience.

After learning she received the fewest votes, Shannon sang "One Sweet Day" again in hopes of winning the judges' "save." They said no.
Also on Thursday's show, Demi Lovato sang "Give Your Heart a Break" and Daughtry performed "Outta My Head."
These 10 singers remain in the competition and will go on tour: Erika Van Pelt, Elise Testone, Phillip Phillips, Heejun Han, Hollie Cavanagh, Joshua Ledet, Deandre Brackensick, Sylar Laine, Jessica Sanchez and Colton Dixon.
