I got a release from MidTown Inc., which promotes living, working and buying in midtown Columbus.
It's kind of a save the date release.
On April 22, MidTown is holding its annual Spring MidTown Historic Bike Around at 1 p.m. It's a 4.6 mile ride that has nine stops. And there's a guide that tells you what's so important at the stop.
I think I could ride a bike that far. Of course, I'd have to get a bike, but they have that covered. I have no excuse. Ride on Bikes on Broadway is renting bikes for $10.

After the ride, from 3-6 p.m., the 2012 Party on the Lawn will take place at the Wynnton Arts Academy, 2303 Wynnton Road.
You can bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on to listen to Columbus State University's G.E.N.E.S.I.S. Gospel Choir and the Maneuver Center of Excellence Jazz Band Combo.
There will be face painting, animal balloons, ice cream, lemonade and hot dogs.
Several MidTown eateries, including the Country Club of Columbus, Dinglewood Pharmacy, the Dinner Divas, MidTown Cakes and Suggar's, will sell samples for a nominal fee.
Everything else is free.
