Easter egg hunts
Uptown Columbus Easter Egg Hunt: 10:30 a.m. in the green space next to the RiverCenter. Don’t forget to bring your Easter basket and camera.
City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt: Noon-2 p.m. in South Commons, 400 Fourth St. There will be more than 20,000 eggs with candy, prizes and food. Call 706-653-4483.
Egg Grab: Sponsored by the Children's and Family Ministry of Morningside Baptist Church. 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Peachtree Mall, 3507 Manchester Expressway. There will be two egg grabs, starting at the Main Stage near Macy's. The first is 10-11:30 a.m. and other is noon-1:30 a.m. Brent Weber, a singer/songwriter of family-oriented songs, will perform, there will be games and then instructions will be given on how to find the eggs that will be placed throughout the mall. Callaway Gardens Easter egg hunts: 2-4:30 p.m. Saturday on the Overlook Azalea Garden lawn at Callaway Gardens. Toddlers to 3 year olds hunt at 2 p.m.; ages 4-5 at 2:30 p.m.; ages 6-8 at 3 p.m.; ages 9-11 at 3:30 p.m.; ages 12-18 at 4 p.m. and those 18 and older at 4:30 p.m. The Easter Bunny will visit from noon-5 p.m. Saturday. North Highland Assembly of God Church egg hunt: 7300 Whittlesey Blvd., will hold an Easter egg hunt for children who are toddler-age to college, starting at 12:30 p.m. The church will have more than 20,000 eggs ready. Call 706-561-7777.
Easter Egg Roll: at Franklin Roosevelt's Little White House in Warm Springs will mimic the White House Easter Egg Roll. Children can push an egg through the grass with a long-handled spoon at 1 p.m. Admission is $8-$12. Call 706-655-5870.
EGGstraordinary Adventure: The annual Dinosaur Egg Hunt at the Fernbank Museum, 767 Clifton Road NE, is Saturday. The museum opens at 8:30 a.m. The first hunt is at 9:20 a.m. for ages 4 and younger. Tickets are $17.50-$20.50. Call 404-929-6339.
