Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with music, costumes and food

Uptown Columbus celebrates Cinco de Mayo from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday (May 5.) Family-friendly activities will be held along the 1000 block of Broadway. Expect traditional music, costumes and food. Admission is free but bring some cash for food and beverages.

Here's the entertainment schedule:

4-4:30 Mexican Ballet

4:30-5 Mariachi Ramon

5-5:30 Son Tropical

6 – 6:30 Break – dancing in the streets

7 – 7:30 –Jalapeno Eating Contest

7:30 – 8 Grupo Candela

8-10 Mariachi Teochitlan
