Ice skate, see 'The Polar Express'

Work off that turkey and dressing by ice skating. The Columbus Ice Rink is open 10 a.m.-1 p.m. today and 1-6 p.m. Friday-Sunday, Nov. 23-25. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for kids 10 and younger. All skate rentals are $3.

"The Polar Express" 3D returns this holiday season to the National Infantry Museum's IMAX Theatre. The first screening is set for Friday. Movie goers will meet the Conductor and get a Golden Ticket punched before taking the magical journey to the North Pole.

When: Shows are scheduled for Nov. 23-25, Nov. 30-Dec. 2 and Dec. 7-9. Showtime is 7:15 p.m. on Fridays (Nov. 23, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7). Saturday screenings are at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on Nov. 24, Dec. 1 and Dec. 8. Sunday shows are set for 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Nov. 25, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.

Cost: General admission is $10. Military members, seniors and students pay $9 and it costs $8 for children ages 4-12. Children younger than 4 years of age can see it for free.
