For the past few weeks, I adjusted my morning schedule so I could watch reruns of "The Hills" on MTV.
The mini-marathons, often dubbed "retro MTV," led up to a big moment: a never-before-seen alternate ending of the (likely unreal) reality series. The show included names like Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag and Kristin Cavallari.
When the alternate ending finally aired today...I was at work.
Fortunately, the clip is already online. But first, a primer on the original ending: The show ended its six-season run in 2010 with a highly talked-about finale that suggested the entire series was scripted.
