Infield Damaged By Pickup Truck
J. Bunt Hood, the angry Columbus sign painter, is at it again.
But this time it wasn't his paint brush antics that got the 75-year-old painter in trouble with the law.
This morning he dug circles in the smooth Golden Park infield grass with his pickup truck's wheels.
Columbus police arrested him at his colorful shop on Wynnton Road and charged him with disorderly conduct.
The July 5 issue of aviation Week magazine reports that the newly formed 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) at Fort Benning will be on its way to Viet Nam by the end of this month.
The magazine, which is devoted to aviation and space science matters, said the division would be operating in Viet Nam by early August.
