Man Charged After Fray On Airliner

An Atlanta contractor was jailed Friday night after a quick-thinking airline stewardess disarmed him aboard a Florida-bound airliner which was forced to make an unscheduled landing here, county police reported.

Officers said the man tried to force his way into the cockpit from the passenger cabin.

Charged with public drunkenness is Jack. W. West, 38.

Angry Warning

Communist China declared Saturday it would definitely intervene in the Viet Nam conflict, as it has repeatedly pledged to the Vietnamese people, if the United States continues its military buildup there.
